The Catholic Foundation is honored to welcome the Luis and Teena Mendiola Fund to the Catholic Legacy Fund. The couple established the fund in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary.

The Seminarian Education Endowment Fund, managed by the Catholic Foundation, surpassed $4 million at the end of 2021. Thanks to the generosity of many donors, we’re 82% towards our short-term goal of $5 million. A fund of this size will generate $200,000 in annual support.

The El Buen Pastor Catholic Mission community in Sparks will receive training on the basics of forming a Stewardship Council from Karina Sandoval, the Catholic Foundation’s Stewardship Coordinator.

Jim and Alice Weber, longtime parishioners at St. Patrick Cathedral, donated an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe to San Pedro de Jesús Maldonado Parish. They received a blessing from Father Germán Alzate, Pastor of San Pedro and Director of Vocations. The couple will celebrate 60 years of marriage on May 12, 2022.
