As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

Now more than ever, we are counting on the community to help us fulfill that mission. Our hearts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.

The Catholic Foundation is Proud to Announce Progress 2017: the Bishop's Annual Ministry Appeal

Progress, the Bishop’s Annual Appeal, is a yearly fundraising campaign to support the day-to-day operations of ministries and services within our diocese. It is the one diocesan-wide campaign that serves the needs of our people beyond the boundaries of any one parish.

Money raised through the Progress Appeal represents nearly 40% of all operating funds ** ** supporting the pastoral, spiritual, educational, and human service programs that benefit thousands of individuals throughout the 10 counties of the Diocese of El Paso. The Diocese also advances the work of every parish with direct financial assistance such as grants and support services.

We invite you to participate in Progress both through a commitment to prayer and a Progress gift.
