As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

**::Opening for a Catholic School Superintendent:: **

If you are an experienced educator who has the qualities to be a superintendent – or who is one now – we would like to hear from you. The Diocese of El Paso, located in the far west city of El Paso, Texas, and named the safest city in the U.S., is offering an exceptional opportunity and challenge: they are seeking an individual who has a proven record of achievement, an understanding and appreciation of enrollment and development activities, and accomplished communication skills. The Superintendent for the Diocese of El Paso serves more than 1,900 students at 11 Catholic schools.

The person selected must have a Master’s degree in Education or Educational Administration with a minimum of 18 hours in administration and supervision.

Application Process for the Superintendent of Catholic Schools

Please visit the Diocese of El Paso website and print the application, reference form, criteria form, and the request for transcript form. Mail the application and criteria form to the Human Resources Office at the Diocese of El Paso at 499 St. Matthews Street, El Paso, Texas 79907. Mail the transcript form to all institutions you have attended and they will mail it directly to the Diocese. Complete your portion of the reference forms and send them to the individuals listed. They will need to return them directly to the Diocese of El Paso. Upon submitting the application form please request the materials for completing the Criminal Background Check and return them to the Human Resources Office at the Diocese of El Paso. When all required forms have been submitted, the chairperson of the search committee will be notified of your status.
